All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling organization founded in January 2019 by Tony Khan, son of billionaire Shahid Khan. AEW was created as an alternative to WWE, the dominant player in the wrestling industry, with the goal of offering a modern and more athletically oriented form of entertainment.
