Coventry City FC play their home games at St Andrew’s. Coventry County FC has a nickname "The Sky Blues" which corresponds to the color of their home kits which is sky blue.
The club was founded in 1883 by workers at a bicycle factory and then went under the name Singers FC, ten years later the club became a professional and then changed to the current name Coventry City FC. Coventry City have some domestic success as they won the FA Cup 1986–87, they also played in the then Premier League 1969/70 and came sixth as their highest league position.
