Getafe CF stands for Getafe Club de Futbol, a Spanish football club from the city of Getafe located outside the Spanish capital Madrid. Getafe CF was first formed as a fan club for Real Madrid in 1946. The club then started playing football and in 1983 the name changed to Getafe Club de Futbol.
The club plays its home games at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez which is an arena located in the city. They play their home games with blue colors, both shirt and pants are in blue.
