Old Trafford or "The Theater of Dreams" was inaugurated in 1910 and is still home to Manchester United FC. After several renovations and expansions over the years, today the capacity is just over 75,000 spectators, which makes the arena the second largest in England in terms of number of spectators.

Getting to Old Trafford is fairly easy. With options such as bus, train or tube from central Manchester, travel time is no more than 15 minutes. On match days, you notice the atmosphere already on the bus or train out to the arena. Lots of United fans are mixing in the different places in the city.
Around Salford Quays, which is a stone's throw from Old Trafford, there are plenty of pubs where fans hang out over a couple of beers before going the last bit. Here the pubs get full quickly and it is important to be out in good time if you are to have a chance to get a place. For those who have not had time to eat anything, there is the opportunity for a variety of alternatives to fast food in one of the many food carts that line up around the arena area.
Once inside the arena area, you will be met by the giant souvenir shop "Manchester United Megastore" along the East Stand. Take the opportunity to make your purchase of the latest gadgets with your favorite player.
With the football ticket in hand, it's time to get into the arena. A couple of different types of official match tickets are sold to the person who is not a member of Manchester United. Just the feeling of being welcomed by the staff at the turnstile and taking the stairs up in the interior will make your heart rate rise. To top off your visit, there are nice varieties of hospitality arrangements where you can choose between having food and drink included or other cool side events.
Sit in one of the bars, listen to the pre-talk of some famous United profiles over a pint while you think about what end result you should put your tip on. Take a seat in your comfortable seat and let the fans at Stretford End sing up the mood while waiting for the kick-off. Enjoy high-quality football for 90 minutes, whether it is the Premier League, the FA Cup, the Champions League or any of the other major tournaments in which the team participates.
