"Les Grenats" or FC Metz as the official name comes from the city of Metz in northeastern France. The club was formed in 1932 and today plays its home matches at the Stade Municipal Saint-Symphorien with a capacity of 26,000 spectators. The team's logo consists of burgundy and white and therefore the home is not completely untipped burgundy with some white elements.
