Stade Rennais Football Club is a football club in the city of Rennes in northwestern France. The club was founded in 1901 and plays its home games at the historic Roazhon Park arena. The arena was inaugurated in 1912 and bore the name "Stade de la Route de Lorient" until 2015, when the club organized a vote among its supporters on what the new name would be.
The club has had a number of Swedish players in the squad over the years, including the goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson and the midfielder Kim Källström. The club's colors are in red and black and have since been nicknamed "Les Rouges et Noirs" (The red and black).
