Standard Liège is a professional football club from the city of Liège in southeastern Belgium. The club, which was founded in 1898, is one of the top clubs in the country and has a lot of league titles on its merit list. The 2020/2021 season was the club's 100th straight season in Belgium's highest league Jupiler League, which no other club is close to. The home arena Stade de Sclessin was inaugurated in 1909 and has an audience capacity of about 30,000 spectators. The club colors go in red and white the club which also gives the nickname for the team, "Les Rouches" (The Reds).
