SV Werder Bremen, founded in 1899, is one of the oldest football clubs in Germany. The club is based at the Weserstadion in Bremen and is known for its rich history and passionate fans. Werder Bremen has had success both nationally and internationally. The club has won the Bundesliga four times, with titles in 1965, 1988, 1993 and 2004. They have also won the German Cup (DFB-Pokal) six times.
On the European stage, Werder Bremen have also made a name for themselves, with a victory in the Cup Winners' Cup in 1992 and several outstanding performances in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
