If you are a dedicated motor fan but tired of the tracks from the classic F1 calendar, we would highly recommend a Formula 1 trip to the Dutch Grand Prix. The Dutch motor enthusiasts are known for their passion for their home drivers and we guarantee you an experience you will soon forget!
The course is located in the city of Zandvoort just outside the capital Amsterdam and gives you an excellent opportunity to combine sightseeing, culture and sports in an easy way during the same weekend. Circuit Zandvoort, as the track is called, has previously arranged competitions in the highest class of racing. Between 1952 and 1985, Formula 1 was driven here and now, after a break of over 30 years, it is now possible to watch Formula 1 live in the Netherlands. The design of the course naturally looks somewhat different compared to before after the rebuilding in 2020. All to meet the demand for today's standards and requirements. Both in terms of driver safety but also for you as a visitor to have a more pleasant experience.
We at GO Sport Travel want you to have the ultimate experience and of course let you make your choices on F1 tickets, accommodation and flights according to your wishes. If you feel unsure what suits you best, we are of course here to advise on which type of ticket is best suited for what exactly you want to see. If you just want to be here and experience the folk festival, the stands are a good choice of ticket to this event. If you are more interested in having a good view, we recommend that you choose a seat on one of the strategically placed stands around the track.
Getting here is fairly easy. By flight, there are many alternatives to Amsterdam where we recommend you to stay. During the F1 competitions, it is no more than 40 km between the capital and Zandvoort, which is most easily harvested through the 40-minute train journey. The large number of departures by train between the two cities gives it a good variety to choose from. Between the train station Zandvoort aan Zee and the railway, it is then no more than a kilometer to walk.
Food and drinks are for sale inside the track area during the competition weekends so that you do not have to go hungry or thirsty. There are also plenty of other facilities such as souvenir shops and toilets.
Do not hesitate to contact us for more information and cost suggestions.
We look forward to helping you tailor your dream trip. Whether it is a complete package tour, a hotel package or only F1 tickets!
