Sinsheim is a small town with about 36,000 inhabitants. It is located just over 350 km northwest of Munich. The best option when traveling to Sinsheim is to fly to Frankfurt International Airport, Frankfurt am Mains.
From there you can then get south by train to the central station in Sinsheim, the travel time is then about 90 minutes.
One of the major attractions in Sinsheim is the technical museum Auto- und Technikmuseum Sinsheim where you can take part in vehicles and technology in all its shapes and sizes. Among the most popular objects to look at there are the aircraft models Concorde and Tupolev Tu-144.
If you feel full of energy and maybe want to fuck a bit with your travel companions, a visit to Paintball Arena Kraichgau is recommended. An indoor and outdoor arena where you can arm yourself with a painball rifle and in detailed environments compete against others in various stages.
For a little more relaxation then take a trip to Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim. A large glass-adorned building with several pools and spa area all with a tropical touch. Outdoors there are also pools, surrounded by palm trees and sandy beaches!
Restaurant Der Gruene Baum is a restaurant with a high level of food, service and standard. It is located east of the center of the Rohrbach district. The food menu is very wide, with options of dishes from Germany, the Mediterranean and the Middle East, among others.
If you can imagine renting a car or taking a taxi, then take you 10 minutes south to the restaurant Küferschänke. A barbecue and wine bar with indoor and outdoor dining, all with a classic German touch to the interior and the premises!
La Trattoria is a well-known and very popular Italian restaurant in the Hoffenheim district, north of the city center. High quality food at a good price level. The plus for this restaurant is that it is close to the Rhein-Neckar Arena football stadium, which makes it a good restaurant to combine with a football match on the same day.
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim is the city's team and the blue-clad play their matches at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena, with room for just over 30,000 spectators. The modern arena from 2009 is located in the district of Hoffenheim, 5 kilometers northwest of central Sinsheim. We at Go Sport Travel can of course offer official match tickets there.
